21c Museum Hotel Nashville to Open on May 16
April 20, 2017
The newest 21c Museum Hotel location, which is located in Nashville and celebrates the Music City’s history and culture, opens to guests and the public on May 16. The project brings new life to the former Gray & Dudley Hardware Company building in downtown Nashville, and reenergizes Bank Alley with a new destination restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. The hotel includes 124 guest rooms and eight rooftop suites with terraces overlooking downtown as well as conference facilities and a ballroom. Elements like cast iron columns and exposed brick were retained to honor the building’s history, while new elements, like the blackened steel staircase connecting the lobby to the ballroom, reinterpret that heritage with a contemporary design language. Partner Deborah Berke, Senior Principal Stephen Brockman, and Principal Terrence Schroeder led the project. Like all the 21c Museum Hotels, the newest location adds to the revitalization of Downtown Nashville.
