ArchDaily has published the Rockefeller Arts Center at the State University of New York at Fredonia. This visual and performing arts center includes the renovation of an I.M. Pei building and our new addition, which turned the former service entrance into a new gateway for the campus and community. While Pei used a language of concrete and glass with metal accents, our addition is more textured and transparent with zinc, glass, and board-formed concrete accents. The project honors the modernist tradition of the campus and reinterprets that design language for the 21st century. Read more here.
