The new Residence Hall at Dickinson College is now fully enclosed with a stone, zinc, glass, and wood building envelope. A stone façade faces the historic campus, while standing seam zinc is used on the side of the building facing the residential neighborhood. The building’s E-shaped plan creates a pair of intimate courtyards and allows all the interior rooms and hallways access to natural light. Partner Maitland Jones and Principal Rhoda Kennedy led the design of the project. Students are expected to move in in the fall. Read more about the project here.
