Our most ambitious projects go beyond program and use, adding striking achievements in social, environmental, and technical realms. They also require a little art. Our consummate practitioner, Ameet has led many of these projects, written our in-house guidelines, and directs our project delivery group. It should come as little surprise, then, that Ameet has an exemplary hand:

“With all the technology at our disposal, I still find reasons to draw. I have always drawn as a means to see the world. I draw to figure things out, to communicate, or simply as a way to find joy….”

Joy has an important place in our practice of architecture. Ameet leads academic and cultural projects, as well as residential projects. His projects balance complex use with environmental practices, but his buildings are suffuse with humanity; they are enjoyed. Ameet played a critical role in the design of our building for Cummins, led our projects for the 122 Community Center and for Harvard Law School, and today leads our project for the Physical Sciences and Engineering at Yale.

Ameet earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Missouri, and received his M.Arch. from Yale University. He joined Deborah Berke Partners in 2006 and became a Principal of TenBerke in 2019.
