Chris is a Principal in our practice and leads many of our private residential projects. Chris has an extraordinary ability to bring into unity the disparate and multiple design elements, spaces, artifacts, and practices of life. “I am drawn to those places where the whole experience is so much greater than the sum of its parts. This may be visiting the villages along the shores of Lake Como or the McDonald Observatory near Marfa, Texas. I also find this in the works of the Paul Taylor dance company… and the giant canvases of Cy Twombly.” In each, a rewarding experience is formed from many parts. “

Chris joined the firm in 2012. Today, Chis is working on a residential complex in East Hampton, NY, and a house and working farm in Terrell, TX. Chris earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Tulane University, and a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University.
