Princeton University Residential Colleges, Princeton, NJ

We are designing two new residential colleges for Princeton University. Each college will serve 500 students. The project represents a major expansion of the campus and supports future student expansion.

The new colleges will include eating, sleeping, study, cultural, and social spaces to enrich the daily lives of undergraduates during their four years on campus. One of the goals of the design is to create places that undergraduate students identify as their home on campus within a welcoming and inclusive university community. The colleges will also include apartments for graduate students and faculty residents.

Located on a sloping site south of Poe Field and East of Elm drive, the new colleges will be knitted into the landscape and will be environmentally sensitive. Each college will have a distinctive but related design language.

Expected completion date – 2022
