Maitland Jones Discussed the Future of Public Space at Connecticut’s Bruce Museum

Today, Partner Maitland Jones joined architects and museum experts for a virtual discussion, hosted by Connecticut’s Bruce Museum, titled Architecture 20/20: New Visions for Public Space in the Age of COVID-19. “Our conversation about the future design of museums is timely, not just because of the pandemic crisis, because we can’t enjoy spaces together right now, but also in the context of Black Lives Matter: not everyone may participate in public space the same way ‘right now.’ The opportunity is for self-critique: to ask who uses museums? Who interprets culture? Who is included in the conversation?” Jones said.
